Full interior purchase
Best place to get every thing for the inside of my 73 corvette. Blue in color. All the plastic panels, door panels, seats, and carpet. Seat frames are good but would need new foam so a whole new seats (I would think) would be the best rout.
I would also consider a good conditioned used interior if some one out there has something.
thanks in advance

73vette, do you have any interior parts? I buy everything from Al knock. They repaired and recovered my original parts saving me money and original dash parts fit easier as they are predrilled in the right spots (just saying what I do, not standing on a soap box if not allowed).
You can negotiate with some vendors when you are spending a significant amount with them. Vendors also give better prices and have shipping deals for many of the larger car show events. I find better deals then the typical 10% off and free shipping when I order from vendors at Corvettes at Carlisle time.

Hi 73,
The original interior pieces are generally superior to the reproduction interior parts available.
Do you have some interior parts that can be restored?
If you could list what you have some folks might be able to offer some advice on how to proceed.
Regards,
Alan

I have been getting all my parts from Corvette America for my 72, and if they still have the "interior package" program going on, you can save an additional 5% on everything. Also, I'm sure what your describing will be over the "Top Flight" program amount, so you get another discount and free shipping on all parts for a year as well. I also agree that if you have "original parts" that can be saved, you should consider that as well. If you want to go that way, send me a PM and I'll give extra details.

72 Royal Blue should be ACC code 07. I can verify this in the morning.

The top car is 1970 Royal Blue
The second photo is my 1971 Dark Blue
I bought the interiors for both my cars and everything including dye came from Al Knoch (note: Dark Blue dye came from Corvette America)
FYI - Reds drive me crazy to match and forget the gloss level of different parts and materials. Some of this also applies to the Blue interiors too.

Thanks, the second one is like mine not the royal blue. I bought my seats from Al Knock so I guess I will check them for the carpet.
BTW, my carpet was fine until I installed the new seats.

71 and 72 are dark blue 412. 1970 and '73 blue is not the same. I'm very partial to the dark Blue in 1971/72

Driver leather is just a bit grainy'ier than the stock leather. But to be honest, I love the stuff because it saves you money and you'd have to be really picky to notice the difference.
The carpet color code for the 1971 and 1972 royal blue is either 07 or 16. We sent samples to Texas a few years ago to verify which color was correct. The car we compared it to was a 7,000 mile car. The customer placed the samples in the car and took a picture. The color he picked was 16 code, but the color CA sells is 07. Both are very very close but the customer stated the 16 was perfect.
The color on top in the picture below is the bright blue used on prior years.
