Dash wiring harness
I decided to tackle most of the work myself, but I was going to pull the interior and give the car to a Corvette shop here to do the dash harness and new Classic Air A/C in the car while the dash was apart.
I was wondering if you could give me an idea, based on the knowledge out there, of approximately what it should cost to do the dash and install the harness. I'm aware that the A/C is roughly $1,500 and the harness is approximately 500. So with that in mind, barring the other things like what other pieces of interior trim might have to be replaced such as the dash itself, about what kind of labor should I expect from just the A/C and dash harness to install?
Also, I was wondering if anybody had thoughts on whether or not the Classic Air was any better or worse than Vintage Air. I read a couple threads on here concerning the parts, and I really like the Vintage Air slide control replacements that come with the kit.
Thanks again for your time.

and you expect new wiring harness new A/C and everything to work properly.
I would guess atleast 40 hours @$100 per hour to do the job.
assuming the interior is stripped completely with no Damage,
complete new wiring, modify for A/C.
the hard part is ensuring everything working 100%.
but here is the problem down the road you have an electrical problem,
no one will know your system. I would suggest you, or a get a friend to guide you,
to do the Electrical work. the knowledge you gain will be great.
Thanks again.
