Default Bra or no bra?

Because I'm fed up looking at the cracks in my front bumper,I may be going with this until I get it to the body shop....

I'm not a big bra fan on the C-3 Vettes but, I guess it's not bad.....Problem is fitment around the front wheel wells.....Bra tends to sag because there's only so much tension the straps will allow me....

I think I will cut the mesh so the front grilles show....

I've always loved the braless look.

I'd take chips (character scars) over a bra.

Hi z,
I always wonder what the bra is hiding.
"I guess it's not bad."
It looks as bad as you think it does!
Regards,
Alan

the bra will scratch your paint, and make it hazy, I speak from experience.
Don't do it.

I think you would be better off to cover the areas getting chips with some of the ClearTastic protective film stuff. It is removable and won't damage the paint. If you drive at speed with that bra, you will get some paint 'wear thru' areas under the vibrating/flapping areas of the bra. If you do not drive the car over about 35 mph, you likely will have no downside to the bra....other than observers wondering what's really in that bra.

I guess I'm from the other camp. We had front end damage, few cracks in the point and some heat damage, that the previous owner must've had too close to some heat like a fire. Anyway the bra works for me. Yup it's hiding stuff, but I actually like the look, kids think it looks like the bat mobile lol. So do whatever YOU like. yes it will make marks in the paint, but considering where we came from it was an improvement.

In your case I think the bra is a good way to hide the damage allowing you to defer repainting until needed for the whole car.

Some great replies I must say.....Especially the natural boob shots...Lol...

Guess I'll just get it to the body shop.....Thing is about three years ago I had the car parked under a tree.....A thick branch came down, I'm guessing it did because when I came out it was in front of the car....It left two very small cracks on the front nose.....Didn't think much of it at the time because they were so small..I was just fortunate that I didn't park a few feet further or it would have come down on the hood...

Well, those two little cracks just kept getting bigger and bigger over the years and hear I am......
