Those are nice order sheets. In 72 they went to the purple color type. Great pics. Big block, nice.

Whatever happened you now have some great docs. And a tank sticker on the tank? Just fantastic.
Ed,
Are you sure about that statement "in 1972 they went to the purple type"? I've seen several of those from 71 that I believe to be genuine. Haven't looked for anything before that.

I miss him too, and am really worried that something happened to him. wish I knew his last name to try and find out where he is.

NCRS Mason-Dixon Chapter Top Flight Award, 99.6, October 2011., this is in his profile, I wonder if we can locate him through this?

We aren't alone on this guys. It wasn't just his perfect photos that answered our questions. It was how he put the words together in his answers, with tact and respectful consideration, that always garnered our attention to that Alan 71 post.

Corvette Forum should start a Hall of Fame sticky so we can properly honor members like Alan 71 who have helped us.

Yep, a double-response to a 3 year old post.

I miss Alan, too. Too bad his pics are either dropping off or getting marked by PB.
