Anyone got custom pics from the early 80s
Anyone have any different custom Vette pics from the late 70s or early 80s? Any Can-Ams or wild customs that haven't been seen in a long time would be sweet..Thanks.

Seen that one
Yeah I've tried Google it's pretty much useless ..I'm looking for older pictures from car shows and pictures people may have taken back in the day.. Ultimately I am trying to find pictures of my car but I also would love to see some different vintage custom Vette pics too..I believe that car posted is Satin's Wing from the 70s it was for sale online a few months ago....Anybody got any pics of Can-Ams from car shows back in the day???...Thanks.

Melting Slicks
There's a reason for that...
I should put up some pics of my buddy's car. '69 'vert, bad rear flares, '64 Riviera tail lights, '82 front clip(which of course doesn't fit right) with no flares, square headlights, etc. And it's painted teal!

"Custom" has a stigma of tacky,
Yeah its all semantics, had you said post your "restro mods" the thread would blow up,
In time "restro mod" will have a stigma attached to it too,
Like it or hate it Most c3 todays are not bone stock, hence "modded".

I dont split hairs, even a restored to ncrs demands if not the parts it actually left the factory with is modded, not what im talking about,
Im pointing out that most and when i ran my poll on here it was like 80% of c3 owners dig modifacations of some sort and no, most of those are not as radical as say richards or davids build, they like more less stock looking with upgrades to performance areas, the racer tribute is very popular at the moment, lots of people into hood swaps more that one would think are into flares,
I believe the tacky customs of the 70s are gone but watch the resto mod trend, slapping cartoonish c1 c2 body panels on a c4 - 5 whatever will be seen in years down the road like we see that corvette summer car today,
But modifacations to engines and suspensions are here to stay and grow as the c3 moves on with younger blood behind the wheels.
