I'm having a hard time believing that the owner of a REAL LS6 car would need to advertise on eBay....

Corvette Mike has one on his site for almost a year at $137k and hasn't sold and its also an automatic.
I thought it was the same car but its not.
The auto trans may be more rare but far less desirable and that matters more.
There is also the gold 4sp car that Proteam has for $119k.
The market is still pretty soft.

Hi,
Isn't there an ad for this car on the For Sale Forum also?
I believe the owner is fairly well known among folks interested in Corvettes.
Regards,
Alan

7t1 why do you find it hard to believe it is real because it is on eBay ? Ed even the 4 spd LS6's have been on the soft side some real nice ones have sold low or not at all lately.

Such a car has a very small group of potential buyers. One puts an item on eBay to present it to large masses of people, many of which have the funds to purchase it.
A 'museum piece' like an LS6 C3 would have a very limited list of buyers: ones who not only have the funds to purchase it, but who also have a suitable place to store and protect it. To me, that doesn't really translate into eBay fare.
A well advertised auction in a prominent location would seem like a more appropriate strategy....IF the owner were really interested in selling the car. For all practical purposes, sticking it on eBay is like saying, "Looky here!", and not much more. Who knows of such a [real] car that ever sold via eBay?

eBay is a great place for exposure for vettes like this LS6. MOST all of these kind of vettes are private sales or auctions BUT eBay is a great place to put it out there.

The Proteam 4sp car is the real deal car, engine case verified by CCAS which in my opinion is as good as it gets and it Top Flighted in 2015. For $119k its as low as you can get. I am seriously considering unloading some items to make room for it. These cars will eventually go up higher obviously, but they are a great buy right now, possibly the best value of any Corvette across the board and very under appreciated.
