Default Dash pad help!

Time for the c-3 guru's to do what they do so well ! Most of you know that I have a 77 and I understand that it has a lot of one off things for that year ! When I got mine the dash pad was gone ( upper ) lower left and lower right still in the car ! So I went to Corvette America and it shows that the upper pad for 77 is separate from 70 to 76 ! My problem is they look identical! Does anyone know if they are different or not ? Wish I new where mine is! Lol Also are there braces that also have to be there or do they connect to the lower dash pads ? I know that there are clips that catch the windshield lip but I don't know what else bolts them in ! Also , while I'm here the headlite switch is missing as well , can I use the one from my 79 parts car to replace it or is this also one of those one off parts two? Any chance anyone has seen my missing parts ? Lol
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help and all that have so far!!

Corvette America is correct in listing the 77 dash pad separately. From 73 to 75 the upper dash pads had color matched stitching. 76 I believe was white. In 77 the stitching was changed to a molded indentation. My original 77 upper dash pad had the indentation and was replaced with a similar new one. There is a brace that attaches to the underside of the upper dash pad and to the inner firewall. If you haven't done so you need to get the Assembly Instruction Manual for your car. It'll be of great assistance to you in the completion of your restoration regardless of how extensive.

So I went back and looked again and I see the molded line in it now , but, is that the only difference? In other words will 70 to 77 fit and there is just difference between the molded line and it others being sewn or a color difference ? Not having the original I'm almost a the point of any dash is better than no dash at all as long as it fits ! For now a good used one will be ok because I'm trying to get it back to a running functional car again so that when I reach 2nd stage I'll have a whole car again before taking it completely apart !😎
