Default Looking for a Vette

So I'm in the market for a 70's era Corvette, I'm not sure what engine package I should be looking for?

Which engine package do you want? Early cars had big block optional engines (70-74). Later cars had small block options (75-79).

Have you looked through the Cars For Sale section?

Hi B,
To add to Mike's post… the early 70's cars had high horsepower small block optional engines too that some folks find interesting.
Regards,
Alan

It really does depend on your wallet. But the best piece of advice I can give is buy the car that is in the best condition as possible.
As Alan mentioned the high revving high hpsb are very nice cars. But the exhaust note of a big block is unmistakable and impressive
