Atomic Motors, a local restoration shop held their first Neutron Jam Car Show this past weekend. A Cars and Coffee kind of event! I was fortunate enough to meet and chat a bit with Mr. Peter Brock. It was fascinating to hear his stories about the Stingray and the Shelby Daytona Coupes that raced at LeMans. That's his "Brock Coupe", a replica that he designed and is made in South Africa.
It's a very interesting coincidence. We had a very successful Australian Touring Car champion
here in Australia, his name, Peter Brock, he won the Bathurst 1000, nine times, more than any
other driver in history and he died in 2006 driving one of these Shelby Daytona Cobra's. He
was lovingly called the "Peter Perfect, King of The Mountain".

Must have been typing at the same time my friend ... we all miss "Peter Perfect!"
Met him at Bloomington Gold a couple years ago. Super friendly guy, interesting, talked a lot about the history of putting together the Sting Ray book and other things. Very nice man, a great representative of the hobby.
