Default My emblem design

First I want to say I know my car didn't have any factory Stingray emblems. I've always thought the original stingray script looked dated on all C3s except the chrome bumper cars. That being said...

My car is a resto mod. Its a 79 with 80 front, stinger hood, SE rear bumper, and 69 gills have been glassed in. Its got a 383 and 700r4 trans. Fitech FI, electric fans, electric popup headlights, Dewitts radiator and Borgeson PS, Wilwood brakes....its not very original.

Car is almost done with paint. I've had all the emblems removed but would like something above the gill vents. I found a company to make custom emblems. This what I'm thinking about.

Gray area will be chrome. Black area will be black. I'm still on the fence on using any emblems. But I like the idea of having my custom emblem of my design.

I like it, long as it's not too big.

I think these personal touches are a Great Idea!

I would suggest separating the manta ray from the "S" to make it more easily legible at a glance.

I have always been confused by the Stingray and Mako Shark designs. Is the C3 a Stingray or a Shark? I've heard both, which is it?

I think it looks awesome...and I'm glad you're adding chrome. I agree with the above comment about separating the "S" a little bit. It takes a second to see the "S". But it's still awesome!

I love it!! I would put them on my 78 RestoMOD in a heartbeat. The only thing I would want different is have it without the "RESTOMOD". If someone can't tell it's a RestoMOD, I don't need a sign to tell them!! LOL

Love to see how this works out - very, very interested to have a set for myself.

Here ya go. I just started the email process of sending them a design. They should reply back next week with a cost quote. I'll post back with any info.

Anyone interested in my original files. Just PM me your email.

This design is much better with no break in the S and a little gap in between it is easier to make out the whole word . Will be nice with the second design . Get a patent !

I think like that would be really nice with that design. Also another thing would be to add them to valve covers if you have a flat top type

Good Idea!

They are several companies that do the custom emblems. Hopefully I can get mine ordered this week and shipped maybe next.

This is my final design that I'm going with.

That emblem is fantastic! ! !
its attached with tape? How long will that stay on after car washes and stuff?

p.s. That emblem is so nice. I think people would want it bigger and put it on their wall. :P
