What about it? Looks like a nice car. Proteam could possibly provide prior owners as long as that does not violate confidentiality laws. The NCRS judging sheets mentioned will have a name on them.

The 3.36 gear, if that is in fact what it has, is not that desirable with the M21 transmission in my opinion. Lower revs at highway speed but pretty sluggish from a standing start. I believe this was an optional "economy" gear ratio.

I agree, the close ratio box (M21) with the 3.36 gears and the LT-1 engine are a terrible drag racing combination, but a much better road racing setup. I doubt any of that would matter to anyone buying a $50k+ LT-1 in this condition. The drive train combination would be great for spirited driving on good roads in rural areas, while keeping the revs down on the highway to get there.
@dan1495
That's disappointing!
Is it unusual to have a crap rear gear ratio in an LT-1.
Sorry, didn't mean to imply it was crap, but it's not much fun to drive around town. As others have said it might be suitable for what you are looking for.
Anyone know this car?
Prior owners?
Anything would be helpful.
Thanks
Tony
Sweet! I'd rather have a 71 LT-1 like this over a big block such as you showed us in the beginning. I believe if you run a smaller diameter tire on the rear you will head in the direction you want for off the line performance. I have a 3:36 read in my 71 and it doesn't feel sluggish to me. Everybody seems to pick at small items as if it's a rear problem.
If you could get this car for low $50's you deserve a party for celebration however mid $50's wouldn't be a deal breaker for me if it's everything that's stated!
