Default Decifering Rear Differential code

AC 13 E1

AC=4.11
13 =January 13
E1 = Eaton 1st shift

Is that correct?

My car is a 1972. Door trim tag is first week if February

I could not read it until we rubbed oil on it

Everything under the car was still stock. We changed out all of the u joints. Complete front end rebuild is in the fall. The car still had oem shocks on the front...well what was left of them.

Hi,
Here's an example of the stamps on a 71 differential case.
12th day of 1971. It's in a car with a January 14 trim tag.
Since the date is noted as a Julian date the first 99 days would be a single and then double number.
