1972 Ignition switch connector.
The ignition switch connector on my 72 is pretty beat up. There were wires spliced into it and and the wiring pretty much fell out of the connector. I have new connectors but can't figure out which wire goes where. Yes I looked at the wiring diagram but it dosen't really show were the wires go. It is the white connector and the specific wire is the brown and white.
If someone has a picture that would be very helpful. Thanks.
I have to correct the wire color it is purple with a white stripe. It seems to go to the neutral safety switch. I am known to be color blind at times.

Hi 540,
Sorry, only what the AIM drawing of the ignition switch connector shows….. and it sounds like you've seen that.
Regards,
Alan

The problem is when I have the ignition switch in the run position there are 2 places this wire can go into. If I put it in the upper slot the starter motor engages. The lower one nothing happens. I have the other wires in the correct slots.
