Default Stereo converters

On a 73, is there an easy way to tell the difference between an AM/FM vs. AM/FM stereo radio besides looking for the 2 converters? If not, where are they located? Pics helpful if possible.

Thanks

the power transistors are located behind the passenger side dash front panel. You may be able to see them by looking underneath the panel.

On the radio, if a stereo, it will have a light to the right of the FM to show
stereo on. This is my mono from my 73 with no light.

Hi,
Here's an example of the 'stereo' indicator on the radio dial.
It's pretty easy to see even if the radio is turned off.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks guys. My FM isn't working and I can't see the converter(s). I 'm not seeing the stereo indicator Alan mentioned, so for now I guess it's not stereo.
