OER Carburetor?
Hello,
Anyone ever hear of 7029215 carburetor cloned by oer? I did an impulse bid on a carburetor and the seller ended it early to were i won. I am new for hunting parts and didn't realize that there was an oer brand? Everything seemed like an original Rochester. Just trying to get an opinion on the brand.

Hi,
Looking at the ad makes me think he's describing the q-jet as a an Original Equipment Rebuilt carburetor.
Not a 'brand', just a rebuilt carb.
The quality of the rebuild will depend on what condition the carb was in when he started, what parts he used for the rebuild and his skill level.

K, thank you for the responses. Even if i have to send it off to be redone as long as the core is good for the 7029215 carb I don't think it was a bad buy since i was about to spend 1,500 for a rebuilt one. I did an internet search and did find a company called oer that did make reproduction carbs so i thought he meant it was one of those.
