Why a silver anniversary paint job?
Just for conversation. My 78 was originally a silver car with blue interior. Its no big deal to me, but I always wondered why when this was repainted, they went through the trouble of painting it with the SA scheme. Don't get me wrong, I love the SA paint, but kind of wish it was the original silver color. Much more rare than the thousands of SA paint jobs. I guess the owner simply liked the SA paint scheme.

Hi H,
I guess sometimes it's pretty easy to understand why certain 'looks' or options are very popular, but sometimes the 'why' isn't so clear because it's just a preference or matter of taste.
