Default Anyone have a pic of exactly where this is supposed to go?

This piece:

1970, with AC. I know it came out of the passenger side of the center dash. It looks like it has been boogered real good in the past, and I was wondering if I installed it incorrectly the last time I had the console/center dash apart, possibly causing grounding problems.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

PK

It is the radio support. One end screws into the passenger side of the radio case , the other end on to the bracket on the floor.

Sometimes I just sit back and am in awe of the absurdly specific set of knowledge the forum membership here has rattling around inside their heads.

If you expand that thought to ALL of the other things existing in this world, which someone out there knows quite a lot about , it make one realize how LITTLE each of us really knows....even if we are an "expert" on something.

Not 38 hours or 38 days

It's mind-boggling. I have no idea what folks did prior to the Internet. It must have been maddening to know that somebody, somewhere knew the answer to your question, but that in all likelihood you'd never find them.

We had to read instruction manuals, repair manuals, diagrams, etc. I use to go to the library and make copies from the reference only books. I know that the Internet has spoiled me.....I can get information about anything on the CF and CFOT a lot quicker than trying to figure it out on my own.

I owned a '69 vert from 1988-1995. I didn't get any internet access until 1994, and things like Corvette Forum were either in their infancy, or non-existent. I have always said that Corvette Forum has made my ownership much more enjoyable and rewarding! There is no way I could have straightened out all the problems I have fixed on my current car without the help of the folks on this forum!

I was the same when I first started to repair vettes, without this forum I'd still be working on the same 68 vert I had in my garage
