Thanks for posting this! I like the concept and it looks like you can add a little customizing too.

Yep- a lot better than the black vinyl...And being aluminum it will cool a lot faster too...

Although in the winter- black might be a better choice...

You have to be careful you don't dent them.

So you don't think left in the hot sun it won't burn you or send a glare to blind you.

I have to agree. They look cool in a stripped down drag car, but I wouldn't want them in my 'Vette.

I kinda like them and depending on the Corvette that I might install them on would dictate to me if I need to cover them in a felt material or leave them alone or even do some trick powdercoating to them.

I might use them as 'plug' and make a mold and then make them out of carbon fiber if that was the 'look' I was going for. These panels would save numerous hours in tooling.

For a race car, they are easy to fabricate for far less cost than what they want.

I like the idea, i dont like the ones with extra stuff on them like the skull or chevy bow tie, since they already insist upon themselves,

They would look good in a road race theme car but like a turd in a punch bowl on a stocker

I would hate that i would think they would get lots of dings easy,

I would never pay their asking price,
im too cheap,

Mike was involved with making fiberglass and carbon door panels many years ago and like with most things he did he never finished it, the prototypes were sweet,
I would think some people would like molded door panels if they fit well,

That's called "diamond pleated". Was popular, in vinyl material, in custom cars in the 50s-60s.
