Default Jack Storage tray

I have a question on the jack compartment storage trays. What is the depth for the various C3's. My 72 had a 6 inch depth and I couldn't put a 6 inch in my early 69 because the shoulder harness retractor was mounted on the side of the wheel well and the door couldn't open wide enough to remove it so I used a 5 inch that I bought so what is correct for a 68 or 69.
Thanks

The original storage tray for the 69 should be the 6.5 inch depth. They went to 5 inch as a service replacement later on, not sure when. Most likely for the very reason you had a problem fitting yours into your 72. Everyone was breaking them.

That's why I replied so quickly to buy yours in your For Sale ad. I need it for my 69.
