Default Question on tcs setup

Is there a way to make the system with the tube and hoses look functional without it actually being functional?

Sure. Put a ball bearing or something in the vacuum line to plug it. THE entire system will look factory, but no vacuum, no work.

What is your goal, vacuum all of the time or no vacuum all of the time?

I fully functional TCS system can be tricked into providing vacuum all of the time by simply unplugging the transmission switch.

If you don't want any vacuum, simply plug the line going to the distributor vacuum advance can.

I just ran an extra vacuum line from the distributor vacuum can to the manifold vacuum tube on the carb on the right side (in choke mechanism). Normally, I run directly to manifold vacuum. If I want it to look as it came stock, I'll pull the vacuum line off the vacuum can and connect the one that goes to the TCS solenoid (just laying beside it). I'll remove a rubber cap on the TCS solenoid fitting and connect its hose, then move the rubber cap over to the manifold vacuum line on the carb.

All the parts are laying on the intake when it is set for normal driving. Remove one hose, pull one rubber plug and move it, and reconnect two hoses and it is "NCRS legal" again. [not that I would ever go that direction...]
