C3 Brake / Tail Lights ?

C3 Brake / Tail Lights ?
Can anyone tell me what the circumference is around the tail/brake lights on the C3? Did it change from year to year? Was wondering how big that lens is around, how big the opening is in the recessed light area?

Hi C,
I believe the size of the taillights may have changed in 1974 (or maybe later) as the change was made to the rubber bumper.
The 68-73 lenses used with the cars with chrome bumpers were all the same size. They were 5-1/4" in diameter.
The opening in the body was slightly larger than that and had a slight additional 'flair' at it's outer circumference.

The 68-73 lenses were 'hooded' to match the contour of the taillight panel.
I believe later lenses were 'flat'.
