Help with wiper adjustment
ok, need some help w/the '72.
I cannot get the passenger wiper blade to park far enough for the door to close. We have tried adjusting everything we can think of. We are confident the wiper arms are correct. The wiper arm spring appears to be working like new. Blade insert does not rest flat on the window though. Driver's side parks correctly and blade insert lays flat on window. We've adjusted the 4 nuts on the wiper trans assembly to no avail. We have been contemplating modifying the wiper door relay bracket (slotting it and moving it down so the arm will lower) I'd like to avoid bubbying it up though.
I welcome any suggestions (besides don't drive in the rain). :-)
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Are you saying the 'lever' on the right-side wiper transmission isn't pushing the plunger far enough for the switch to send the vacuum signal to the relay to close the door?
Have you tried using screw 'A' to adjust the angle of the arm and blade to get it to attempt to park fully?
Regards,
Alan
Screw 'A' changes the angle of the wiper arm extension and thus how the blade 'parks'.
