Right before I started my frame off, which will end with the body going on today, I restored the console and my gauges. Didn't get around to sharing pics then, so here they are now.
Nice job! Which fuel lines did you use? I see that they are not original hard lines. I plan on going the same way when changin mine but I dont have the luxury of rolling chasis but the body is on.

They are braided stainless steel AN lines and fittings. It's the same stuff we used for nitromethane for the drag strip and Bonneville. I have some Aeroquip, Russel and Summit Racing. I actually like the Summit stuff. It's a little easier to install the fittings on the lines.
If you've never worked with braided steel, be prepared for lots of little needle ****** in your fingers. The braid is sharp and stiff.
I can't wait either. I have a fair amount of body work to do though and I hate body work, especially on fiberglass. As I've said before in this thread, I can't do the body work until spring. There are a lot of other things I can do over the winter though. The car should be coming home in a week or two.
I tied the rear of my frame back together where it was split for the fuel tank sump. It made a handy place to hang my Mallory 140 GPH pump also. The fuel system is all plumbed now. I need a rubber lined clamp to hang the filter yet though.
I threw in a couple of photos of the bottom too. Wish my phone took better photos.
For a true high performance pair of half shafts that can handle anything you can throw at them, I thinks it's a very fair price. Standard replacement shafts are usually a little over $200.
Denny's makes good quality half shafts. They balance each one and use solid tubing and not welded seam tubing. If I remember correctly the Nitrous Ready are 3".

Yes they are 3" and are seamless tubing. They balance and check from low speed to high speed. Race ready pieces.
