he's also got a page on Facebook. It will be at SEMA this year. It is, by far and away, my most favorite C3. I don't think he comes in here because modifying a chrome bumper car is highly disfavored among the very vocal portion of the citizens here.... and no, there's nothing wrong with modifying a car, any car.

It might be a case of the loudest here hate modded chromies but far from majority,
Sure he, myself and any modder might get tar and feathered on the ncrs site,
But wait, didnt ncrs sell out ( so to speak) and now have a modded class?
If they did its because they see interest in factory stock dying off, and they need new interests in ncrs.
Anyway, the majority of the c3 owners on this site whether its mods that keep a stock look or more radical changes like scoops, flares etc like some modifacations over factory stock because more and more c3 owners are actually driving their c3.
The die hard purists dont have to like it, but times change.

it just takes one to poison the pond... right or wrong, that's the way it is.
Hey guys, I wasn't trying to start a brawl in the C3 section. I was just sharing what I think is a cool car styled after a C3, that's all. Sheesh.
Sheesh?
I dont see a brawl,
i dont even see anything more than me and the other cat discussing a facet of the forum that i find sad, no one is angry that i know of, unless som lurker hates the car you posted because its a modded chromie

My '72 vert was a old show car, and so was VERY heavily modified at one time, but I think the flares were cut back for street use by second owner, and so I bought it that way....making it the purrfect candidate for my hotrod/mechanical interests....it was stock as a stove on the mechanical side.....
there is nothing stock about my car, wheels through roof, stem through stern....nothing, nope, not that either, I mean NOTHING....
see pix below, they tell about 1/2 the story.....
and you gotta have a 8 ball on the end of your Hurst shifter rod, or you just not cool......
