I have a 3933163 Aluminum intake , the date code says 01129 ? I can't find that anywhere in the decode lists. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

3933163 was used on the (late) 1968-1969 full size 427/425, the 1968-1969 Camaro, Chevelle and Nova 396/375, and the 1969 Camaro and Chevelle 427/425.

Yours is dated January 12th, 1969.

That intake is an over the counter intake. A real January intake is stamped "69". Yours is from 1979 or 1989.

Below is a picture(upside down) of a real 5.16.69 intake.

Hope that helps, Kurt

Yes, sorry, I forgot about that. Thanks Kurt.

AND they're also reproducing them now, but I don't know if they come with any kind of date code.

The new ones are a lot more shiny and the font looks a little different.

I dunno. Here is the 85 version. Clearer with flash off... blue is iron L29 intake from 96. They started adding the decade year digit in the 70's, I am pretty sure.

Unfortunately, no.....I’ve never actually owned one.

I can see the difference when pictured for sale on eBay or in catalogs. It’s the same with all the aftermarket intakes.

Thanks for the help .Mines been painted (stealthy black ) but could probably be blasted clean. Are these things worth anything ? I'm not into the "numbers" matching /date code resto stuff. I'll try some pictures

Default Yes I'd sell it, how do I do that here?

[QUOTE=Duffeball;1595914715]Is it for sale?[/QUOTE
Yes I'd sell it, I'm trying to pare down my parts stockpile. What's it worth ? I'd like to get $250 or so for it ? Is that reasonable ?
Hopefully help someone with the right car that needs it, and get some Christmas money... e-mail ?

List it in c-3 parts for sale section! At the bottom of the page is a pull down window that says General ! Touch it and it will open up and touch parts for sale !

Happy Thanksgiving
