I dunno. Here is the 85 version. Clearer with flash off... blue is iron L29 intake from 96. They started adding the decade year digit in the 70's, I am pretty sure.

Thanks for the help .Mines been painted (stealthy black ) but could probably be blasted clean. Are these things worth anything ? I'm not into the "numbers" matching /date code resto stuff. I'll try some pictures

List it in c-3 parts for sale section! At the bottom of the page is a pull down window that says General ! Touch it and it will open up and touch parts for sale !
