That’s a lot of money for a car with the issues identified. Considering the photos on the registery shows the A.I.R equipment and now it’s gone, it almost makes you think someone was selling expensive components off the car to milk every dollar out. I’d be very careful.

Good luck.

Allan
You mentioned photos on the registry. how do I get to see these photos on the registry

thanks

once you find the car on the registry on the right side of the line where the car is listed is an icon of a camera click on it.

Thanks,
I found it.
Is there a way to see past owners, or sold prices. any info would be appreciated.

There is an LT-1 expert in Michigan by the name of Steve Burns. He's active in the NCRS world. Maybe he can help you with the car.

the stamp pad: the lettering on the right hand side looks correct, based on font and size, the left hand side, looks like current font and size... just my .02... my original '76 pad has the larger script/font across the entire pad

they also appear to have a difference in metal depth and strike energy, factory appearing pressed, the lettering on the left appears much rougher as though it was hit several times with a hammer to make the mark

now that being said, they look very much in line, and machining on the pad appears to match across the pad, need higher resolution, and multiple angles and better lighting of the pad and we can tell you whats going with it

if you want to get really crazy with the pad, you can flux it to see if the metal has been welded to build it up and mill it back down to match heights... the swirl of the weld puddles will show up with the magnetic fields, but you'd need someone who knows what your trying to do to check this
