Hi R,
Welcome!
I see you're looking at a newer car too... are you trying to decide between the two?

It difficult to give you a responsible reply as to what the value of the 68 car you're looking might be.
In order to do that you'd need to include a lot more detail about it and post some photos of the exterior, interior, engine compartment, and the chassis.

So, more info and photos!
Regards,
Alan

You post ended up in the For Sale section... it's probably get moved to the 68-82 General forum where it'll get more views and replies.

How do you feel about the price? You've seen the car. We have not.

Either you (if experienced enough) or someone else with early C3 experience should review the car in person. This is a must as there are too many cars with issues looking for inexperienced buyers.
Just beware.

It sure does look like that but if you look at the other pictures it does bend down and go under.

Car looks pretty good but I would still want to crawl over it and check for rust and see how it runs.

It does look fairly nice, mostly correct restoration. It is missing the smog, headlight shields, trans tunnel insulation, wrong radio, center bezel original but broken, original glass, non original alternator, missing some ignition shielding, need to clean paint from vin pad on engine to verify stamping. Must be an earlier car as the drivers side mirror is in the forward location. Not sure what was going on with the rear compartment? Wires coming out over the bulkhead?
But, the panel fit is nice, nice paint and great docs.
I see many nicer c3's at Valley Auto, never been there, just from the website.
Still, never buy without seeing in person and driving the car.
Joe

It has the "stingray" emblem on the front fenders... incorrect for a 68.

not 100% sure, but I would say fenders are not 68-69 ones. but later
68-69, fenders are quite "flat", without this wide aspect

My 69 is a wide-body, so I may be over-reacting
