Hi B,
Exterior trim parts were typically painted semi-flat black.
Originally the paint was very thin and the 'grain' of the fiberglass could often be seen.

"Semi-flat" black is the same sheen as "satin" black. Different paint companies prefer one or the other term.
John Deere "Blitz" black spray paint is a good choice for duplicating the stock look on such items.
