Pretty brake calipers...
I can try to write up a basic powdercoating 'how to' if my thread doesn't answer your questions. It really is pretty easy and WAY better than painting.
Here they are masked off and cooling after curing the powder.

Oh, by the way, they look absolutely awesome!

I have a dedicated full size oven and a little toaster oven dedicated to powder coating.
I hate waiting for paint to dry :-p. Patience, like most virtues, isn't something that I possess in any great quantity.
The color options are also outstanding. That orange I used is a pretty close match to the paint that I will be putting on the car.
My wife needed all the bathroom handles/etc. converted to Oil Rubbed Bronze which would cost $2,000 for new hardware. I explained to her about powder coating all the items for $300 INCLUDING the gun and the powder.....she said "Go for it", so, I went for it!
Now I have a powder coating kit for the Corvette! Annnnd it is fun to use the gun (but it will BITE you if you touch the part while you are spraying the powder

)Smart way to get yourself a nice powdercoating rig too! I have also done a lot of kitchen hardware, door *****, coat hangers, and pretty much anything made of metal. I made a bunch of furniture with iron pipe and coated that as well...it really comes out nice and is incredibly durable.
