Sniper Efi

Wondering if anyone has had any flooding or rough idling with the efi kit. Drove it this fall to the gas station and fueled it up and put her away with no issues. Now a few months later the throttle body is dumping fuel and the motor will barley run. Weather is 13 degrees here in Michigan but that should not matter. Fuel injection should adjust. Possible o2 sensor failure? Thanks in advance.

They claim it fixes all your carb problems. My plan is to add one but I'll also add their gas tank that's designed for the unit.

The Chevelle forum had interesting comments and results of the installation.

I was on it last fall, thinking of installing one myself. Went with a carb.

My truck has 480k miles with a carb / 38 years before replacement - not many problems. 5 with the new carb - no issues. Simpler .

I'll leave it at that...

So it's -2 here In Michigan this morning. Could not wait until the spring to see what is wrong with this car. Grabbed some coffee and some beer and went to the garage. Fired the car up and the motor is barley running. Went to the back of the car and notice one of the exhaust pipes was sooty( looking like unspent fuel). Went to the engine compartment and found 2 spark plug wires laying on the header. Changed them and fired the car back up and she is purring like a kitten. Easy fix. Wish all trouble shooting was this easy.
