Default 79 rear differential in a 75 ?

I have the chance to buy a rebuilt 79 rear diff on the cheap. My question is ... will it bolt up to a 75? Thanks for the help.

yup, but if it's original stock you will just be bolting in another problem. Address the RG bolts, axles, and possibly the posi clutches.

It has 500 miles on a fresh rebuild from the Corvette center in Pueblo, CO. RG = Running gear bolts?

Well hopefully it is correct, I don't know those guys so I can't say one way or the other but I have had plenty of "rebuilt" diff's come in and, well lets say the term rebuilt can be subjective.
Good luck
