HI Jim, here is a pic of my 540, it's still sitting on the stand... Don't know the hp or torque yet...

That's a nice looking motor. Who built it? What is it suppose to be rated at? Will that oil pan work in a C3?

I have one of his 650hp 496s, and 2 of my other friends here locally do as well... One of which is a 73' Vette with a TKO600 and 3.55 gears, that thing with 690hp is a hoot on the street....any which way but straight.

I bought the short block from shafiroff.com, consisted of a a dart big m block, callies dragonslayer crankshaft, callies compstar rods, JE pistons 10 1/2 compression... I then added AFR heads,325 cc
Dart intake
AED dominator carb
Howard hydraulic cam and lifters
Milodon oil pump and pan

How many CI? How much HP or RWHP? TQ? 1/4 mile time and MPH?
