Hi all. I have been a member for some time because my father owned a C5 and I would help him with issues and questuions. He just sold that car and I dove in this weekend and bought a 1978 Pace Car. I have already found great help searching threads here. Thank you to all who make this such a great resource!

Hi A10,
The car looks like a BEAUTY!
I hope it gives you lots of pleasure!

How about a few more photos?
Regards,
Alan

Big smile even though it doesn't run well now. It looks good in the pic but its a bit rough. Lots of work to do outside, inside, and mechanically. That's the only pic I have at the moment.

looks like a good start. Is it a factory pace car, or a made up one? What engine, what transmission? I know you said it doesn't run well, but is it something you could drive while you're making improvements?

Guys, sorry for reviving my own post. I apologize for not responding. Shortly after selling the family C5 and picking this car up I had crazy work travel that has had me gone and the car in the garage untouched for nearly three months. It is Pace Car number 1116, L82 automatic, and I have started a new thread looking for help as the poor running is kicking my...
Not sure how to link that thread but I'm sure if interested you can find it. Thanks again and sorry for the poor manners.
