Default New 1977 Corvette

1977 Orange Corvette with 1500 miles on it. Brown leather seats. It has been sitting in a museum. It was the first 10 off the production line and looking to sell. How much is this car worth? Posting for a teacher that just lost her husband a few months ago. I can probably get more pics but this is all I have for now.

Hi jr,
The car looks like a nice one.

It might be wise to have someone knowledgable about 77 cars take a look at it and then give you some advice about it's value.

If you post the car's general location perhaps someone could give you the names of some people to contact in order to have them take a look at it.

Regards,
Alan

That car is worth EXACTLY what the next buyer is willing to pay for it. That may sound to you like a smart-a$$ response, but that's just how supply & demand works. Anyone can put a guess-timate on the value of that car. But, the time of year, the location, the interest level of potential buyers, and the economic conditions at the time it is offered have much more to do with the REAL worth of that car than what anyone THINKS it should be.

Make an offer that is somewhat less than you are willing to pay for it...then see what happens.

Hi jr,
I'm thinking you're helping the car's owner arrive at a value and asking price for this car? Is that so?
If it is, you might consider contacting Bob Demmel.
He's an NCRS member who lives in Texas and has contact with folks throughout Texas.
Perhaps he can make a suggestion of someone near to Killeen who can take a look at the car and give her some guidance on some realistic and fair values.
Regards,
Alan
