Rear Window

So its time to start working on my ever ending project lol. I found a fellow forum member (Thanks Frank) that had a removable rear window that I just picked up. It came from a 71 and had the latches and halos. I am going to be on the hunt for the nylon receivers along with the guides.

My question is.....Is the glass supposed to be tight in the frame? the glass does not appear to sealed in the frame.

Hi jk,
Originally the glass was sealed in the aluminum frame.
A black material similar to 3M Strip Caulk was used.
