Default All Weather Car Cover?

Hello,
I have been looking for a good ALL weather car cover. I live in Iowa where the winters can be savage, and the summers even worse as far as sever weather is concerned.
I would like advice,, or opinions on others experience as to TYPE (custom fit etc.), manufacture, and/or brand. My intent is to garage it it, but I would like something "in case"!
Seems I have found that price does not necessarily reflect quality, as the reviews I've read have shown. There are 5 layers, 2 layer, and on and on. The more I look and read, seemingly the more confused I get!
Any comments welcome!
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure there is an all-weather cover made for any car that can stay on all winter and be taken off in spring looking just like it did when you covered it. Heat cycling, moisture, condensation, etc, etc.

They do make gizmos to 'encapsulate' your car. But I don't know if THEY can be left outside.

???

The only all weather/season cover for a 40 year old cars (C3) is a well maintained and clean garage. A temperature and humidity controlled garage would work.

Yes, I understand keeping it garaged, I just want the best backup I can find in the event that I am some where that it could not be garaged over night. If I purchase a cover, I would naturally want the best!
Thanks

Try Mid-America's Typhoon class car cover. I've used it on my C5 that sits under a car port and now on my second.

Just an aside comment:

Most (if not all) collector car insurance coverages REQUIRE that your vehicle be parked in an enclosed garage whenever it is not in use. Further, they will NOT cover any loss or damage to the vehicle if it is left in an unsecured spot overnight (unless they have been notified in advance for a specific car show away from home).

That's true.
My policy states that to receive the appraised insurance value the car must be kept in a locked garage, and there are home insurance requirements also.
