Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. My lower rear shock mounts are at an upward angle making it impossible to attach them at the top. I see videos saying the spring (Composite 360 monospring in my case) must be removed before hand but I'm not sure this will help. (Tie rod adjustments do not help as expected) Also the diff. is riding real high causing the half shafts to be at a steep angle. I'm not sure if these are related but any help is appreciated.
With the T-arms hanging down they will turn inwards at the bottom somewhat which would point the top of the shocks outwards so raising them to "drive height" should put the shock somewhere near where they need to be.
That said, when I look at my pictures the lower shock mounts are tipped downwards slightly
Stupid question but is there any chance yours are on the wrong sides?

Don't know if this will help, but just put new shocks on my '73 BB and with the car on jack stands and the wheels off, I had to use my floor jack to move the rear suspension arms to a point where I could get the shock ends on their location points. It took some fiddling and time but they will line up. Good luck.
