Did you use a separate paint to touch up the chrome trim? if so what did you use?
Thanks,

You did a great job! Dramatic improvement.
I used Rustoleum Satin too. It seems pretty hard and scratch-resistant as well.
Very seriously Kansas.
Took me a couple of weeks, but:
No Fumes,
No Dust,
Just a lot of goo and newspaper to dispose of. Got all the way down to the black. And exposed all the bondo work the PO did.

I haven't stopped chuckling since I brushed this stuff on my wiper bezel. As soon as I brushed the first app and the brush came back black, I knew this stuff was good. Less than an hour and I was wiping it off and seeing shiny. Just unbelievable. Everybody, this stuff is GREAT! Remember the name: Citristrip. I still can't get over it.
I have done a couple of these, this is my process..
Chemical strip it.
Spray the entire bezel black.
Spay entire bezel with a matte clear.
Take a knife and scrap the paint from edges that are suppose to be chrome.
If I ever need to touch it up, a black sharpie works well.
On my 73' the exposed chrome on the stock bezel is different from the original poster bezel.
