Default same seats in a 69????

Hey isnt the seats in a 69 the same where you pull the lever to flip the seat forward to get something in back???

Not sure what you're asking. Through 78, all C3s seat backs locked in place and had to be released in order to fold. 68 and 69 have the releases on the seat back. Other model years had the release on the rear of the head rest.

Yes. The passenger and drivers seat have the latch oriented to the left side of the vehicle . Driver's is by the door and passenger's is by the console.

Hi B7284,
Another difference beyond the latching mechanism to be aware of is the fact that 69 seats don't have a headrest unless it was an option selected for the car.

Hello Alan,
I believe the headrest was mandatory in 1969. Early 69s had it as an option listed on the tank sheet, but all cars had it. Later in the year it was dropped off the tank sheet but added to the list price as mandatory standard equipment.

Correct, because of a new Federal law, all 69 seats came with headrests, so 68 was the last year they were optional.
