Wiper Door questions
I have a '72 and do not have any idea what the wiper door limit switch looks like mounted. Also where is the wiper park motor located?
Picts, links?

Hi MBB,
The wiper motor is mounted on the center of the firewall behind the distributor.
The wiper door limit switch is mounted on the firewall just a bit to the passenger's side of the wiper motor.
Regards,
Alan

Hi MBB,
The limit switch itself mounts to the firewall and has a button which the plunger connected to the wiper door mechanism depresses when the door is completely open.
This completes the circuit to the wiper motor and the wipers begin to sweep.
The purpose of the switch is to prevent the wipers from starting to sweep until the wiper door is fully open. If the wipers start too soon they might crash into the wiper door... not good.

Alan
The switch and it's connection in the engine harness.
