BUT..I can say...that using that photo as the EXACT place where yours should be...can be dangerous.
When I am gluing on the deck lid w/strip I have already successfully got the deck lid on and set and adjusted.
I find the center of the w/strips length an begin in the center and glue it to the decklid.
I have it glued along the entire back edge and around the corners so it is good and glued down and stop a few inches past where it came around the corner.
I ALSO have the top 'B' pillar w/strips on each side and the black plastic wedges in place.
I then pull down the deck lid and find the spot where the end of the deck lid w/strip needs to go so it works correctly with the w/strip at the top of the 'B' pillar.
Once I find that spot..I glue it and if needed stretch it a little bit to get it to go where it will not cause for any added interference or binding when the deck lid goes to be closed.
OR...just glue it like it has been shown and hope for the best that you do not run into a conflict.
