One thing im not is sensitive, what people bray doesnt really matter much to me, but if we are trying to help the car craft hobby, corvette specific camaradiree,
i am opininated myself... your rant struck a cord so to speak...
My comment wasnt directed at any one person, although i can see how priya got her impression,
In fact its directed at a very small yet very loud few,
Sometimes due to health i spend more time here than i should in that i read a lot and do not always comment but file it away,,
i do notice that there are guys here no label being placed only descriptors , with egos bigger than a mountain more fragile than glass, and they will prove that,
Thinking everything they do is perfect and epic, that if you dont 100% agree with them, even hail them, do as they say not as they do, fit into their same clique of bs you are treated far worse than you say you have seen " purists types" treat others, these types ive been told are why some great minds seldom if ever post here any more, sad.
Your rant about "ncrs types" wasnt fair because the simple fact is i have seen far more snobby , elistist, negative bs come from non ncrs members/types , since you left the others out by pointing at ncrs types my comment was to include them....

After 12 years here, I still find this forum and most of its members outstanding and entertaining.... I go out my way to try to help people here every day with what little knowledge I have, and I enjoy helping them, that’s what the forum is supposed to be about.
I sometimes forget about the society of sensitivity we live in today.

I was definitely not attacking or being rude to CF members directly....on the contrary actually, I think we have a great group here, in all of the sections of the forum... My comments were directed at people in the real world, that I see and hear often...I’m sure many of them don’t even post on forums because their knowledge is way too valuable to give away for free, let alone actually help others.
