I put new rubber seal's on the front pillars. You know where the windows should seal. But you can only roll them up completely with the door shut. Then you can't open the door with out rolling the window down about one inch. What have I done wrong??
Thanks
John.

Hey John what year is your vehicle?
I have done this on my '81 twice. The second time I learned that the A pillar ws moulding was adjustable. I could move the moulding in and out to adjust the ws contact area. Hopefully this is the case with yours. You shouldn't have to readjust the window unless the ws was glued too far down or up in the moulding.

SO..IF I am reading this correctly. IF you rolled your door glass all the way up and tried to close the door you would have a problem???
When the door glass is up all the way...and your door is OPEN. Does the door glass move in and out and have play in it and it not being solidly held in an angled position??? This is IMPORTANT!
Does it seem that your glass is wanting to hang up on the blow out clips when you attempt to open the door with the door glass up and the door is closed???
