I've been wondering whether to post in this thread or not... I personally worry a little about public posts like this - we all have posted information about ourselves and our possessions online, and I for one would prefer people not draw attention to the fact that I may be away on holiday or otherwise not around. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but...

Metalhead agreed, the whole internet thing is a little freaky. I a a very "private" type of person. But if you think this is bad, you should see what people paste on Facebook and such about when were exactly they live, when they away on vacation, their fancy possessions etc. Almost begging for trouble!!!! You know how we are all car buffs and that draws us together like family.
You know how sometimes you just need a break from family.
Alan has been a huge contributor and benefit to this family and maybe he just needed to take a breath and step away for a bit.
Yes, our thoughts are with Alan and we all wish him well and hope he returns soon.

EarlyC34Me , you had stated that Alan emailed you a few days ago. Did he mention anything was a miss?? Would you be wiling to email him for me (us) and just advise him that we wanted to make sure he was OK in light of his absence. Thanks Ike
