Default how do you get these off?

Doing some trim revamp and want to take of the interior gearbox trim, having a little difficulty removing these heater push *****, looks like the screws are not in place but the plastic **** sure is on there pretty tight. any hints or tips?

If the ***** are original the allen will be 1/16", some aftermarket ***** are slightly larger

And you will need to screw them out fairly far to clear the detents on the metal levers.

Thanks fellas, the 1/16th did the trick, although had to buy an imperial set to get the correct wrench

For most C3's you will need an imperial set to work on anything. Only the late C3's had a few metric fasteners.

Even then I'd bet on it being imperial. Not a lot of metic on them.
