Default Reaching Out For Help

Hi to all. I have been restoring my early 68 (October 1967 build) for too many years now but seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I am in need of a pair of headlight bezels. I took a shot and bought 2 different pairs over the years and both are too big. The early 68 headlight doors are a bit smaller. How I measured is as follows; I measured from the top front edge of the bezel back 2", this got me beyond the radius of the corners, I than measured from left to right and came up with 15". Now this measurement is the ones I have and are too big. If I was to guess I would think the smaller bezels will measure around 14 5/8". If anyone knows, hears or comes across of any please let me know. Just trying my network of fellow 68 ownwer who understand my plight.
Thank you,
Peter

They are next to impossible to find. There is no AIM part number available, atleast I couldnt find any and I just found the thread that I was looking for them in. If you use the plastic bezels you can usually get them to fit as they wont snap. The metal ones snap, usually the passenger bezel on the lower right side as you look at them while installing them. I have some old plastic ones I'll send you I took off my 68. They are the large size but they will get you closer to your goal. PM if you want them and your address. Shipping should be cheap

You might reach out to forum member 1960fi. George has a bunch of 68 parts not listed in his FS post. I've been to his shop and he's got several parts cars and shelves of parts he's pulled.
