Are you all running everything through these switches, or just everything else, and leaving the main starter cable a direct run? I ask because the industrial relays I'm familiar with cost as much as that complete battery brain T3 kit, and are still only rated for 100 Amps or so.

I run everything through the switch. I have a small fused jumper around the main switch for the clock and radio presets. The switch is rated for it. 500A momentary 100 continuous
some are rated at 125 continuous. Cost about $16

the other thing this will take care of is the battery goes dead in two weeks because there's a tiny little drain you can't chase down.

I bought this simple "blade" switch back in 1990 from Lectric Limited (Don't know if they are still going). It has worked a treat ever since. It's not for anti-theft but to ensure no battery drain when the car is left for a while. The wires and crocodile clips are for the "trickle charger", by the way.

Thanks! The last time I looked, that wasnt the case, or the momentary current wasnt rated. I'm glad to see the numbers are much higher now, at least with the ones on Amazon.
