C3 Fender Mounting Issue
Hey Everyone,
I'm new at this forum stuff so please excuse any "faux pas" that may arise.
I have a 1968 Vette that my brother and I are restoring (Resto-Mod actually) and we are having some trouble in mounting the fenders. We are using the original front end and when we got "Roxy" she was all in pieces, so the question is... What is the proper procedure for reassembling and mounting the front clip? Any advice would be helpful. Oh! just an aside would anyone out there know which chev/corvette dealerships were in Halifax in 1968? We were able to find that Roxy went from the plant to Halifax but so far that's it.
Thanks for your help

Welcome to the Corvette Forum.
In the future...when dealing with paint and body issues it may be best to post your thread in the 'PAINT AND BODY' section which is in the GENERAL CORVETTE TOPICS tab which is in the FORUMS tab
I will need many more photos and descriptions from you due to there are so many small things that will need to be done prior to you installing any parts.
Private message me (PM) so I can get you my shop phone number due the extensive amount of stuff we need to discuss so you can begin to post the photos I will need to see. Keep in mind when you post photos. PLEASE make the photo able to clearly convey what needs to be seen so I am seeing what you see.

An inexpensive way to go is the way they used to make Lambo replicars. Find an old but running Eldorado (big V8, front wheel drive) and mount it so that the drive train is in the rear. You can even find these orphaned kit cars on Craiglist for cheap. By the way, I used to have a Fiberfab GT40. Neatest and most horrible car I ever owned.
