So this winter's big project looks to be replacing all the carpet in my 77 AKA The White Rabbit. I plan to use ACC carpet. Does it matter which vendor I purchase it from? Most seem to sell ACC carpet. Thanks in advance.
Willcox has a sale this weekend. I just bought mine two weeks ago from them. The carpet is very nice and came with backing. The pricing was excellent due to there 20% sale. I try to support vendors that support us. Willcox is by far the most relevant vendor on the C3 forum.

I think all of us have our favorites vendors. Who do you like? I've never had any problems with Willcox or ZIP and I've also purchased from Corvette Central, Mid-America, Eckler's and Paragon.

AL Knoch is also an option and he makes the carpet at his facility. His carpet is all I use on Corvette before 1984 due to how well it is made.
This can be clearly seen when the carpet it put to sunlight and on some carpet you can see sun come through due to the rows of carpet are not spaced correctly...while on his... the rows are very close together like the factory did it...so barely ( if any) sun shines through.
The reason I write this is because I have SEEN this when I have had his carpet in the shop for a Corvette and another customer brings me carpet that they have purchased from ACC.
Turn the carpet over and look at the backside and see how well the rows are tightly and even spaced. You may be amazed. on what you think is good enough or not.

One of my winter projects is to do the carpet in my 76. I will also be using ACC carpet. I have heard alot more good things then bad things about their carpet. Look on EBAY. the prices are around $295 for the whole kit. Just look at the rating of the vender, and make sure they say they sell ACC, and not " they sell stuff that is just like ACC ".
For what it is worth, I am trying to find a light blue color to go with my Sateen Silver project (62 vette). As none of the vendors (SI, Top Flight, a few others ) carry a light blue color (they do.. but in name only.. not as light as originals to go with Horizon Blue interior), I ordered a bunch of samples to see what they looked like in person. Orders from diff sources. Some colors I even ordered the same color twice as the pics of the color looked diff on the web between diff vendors. All the samples I got, no matter who I ordered from (except Al Knochs) arrived from ACC. So pick your color.. use a supplier you are accustomed to working with and are happy with, do pay attention to price (there are sig diffs for what turns out to be the same thing from ACC), but in the end, it will be ACC you get (again.. except for Al Knochs)
